Packet Filtering The process of inspecting packets based on their source and destination addresses, ports, and protocols, and either allowing or blocking them based on predefined rules.
Quality Of Service (Qos) A mechanism that prioritizes certain types of network traffic, ensuring higher performance for critical applications or services.
Router A network hardware device that forwards data packets between computer networks
Routing The process of selecting the best path for data packets to travel from source to destination in a network.
Virtual Private Network (VPN) A secure network connection that allows remote devices to access a private network by encrypting their data and tunneling it through the public internet.
