What are loop cards?

Loop cards are a great game that can be played individually or as a class. They are perfect for review key vocabulary or questions at the end of a topic or when revising for an exam.

Instructions

  1. Cut out the cards from the paper horizontally (but don't cut them in half!) and then shuffle them.
  2. Now start joining each question on the right hand side of the card to the matching answer on the next card.
  3. Carry on until all the cards loop together and you have competed the game!

Hint: Make sure that you set your paper to portrait to print 4 cards per sheet of A4 paper.

Connection points on a microcontroller where signals can be sent out to control devices like motors.
Motor Drivers
Integrated circuits or modules used to control the speed and direction of motors.
Feedback
Information returned to the system to use in adjusting its operations or actions.
Torque
The rotational force produced by a DC hobby motor.
DC Hobby Motors
Small electric motors used in hobbyist projects that are powered by direct current and suitable for various applications such as model cars, boats, and planes.
PWM (Pulse Width Modulation)
A technique used to control the power delivered to electrical devices by varying the width of the pulses.
Speed Control
The ability to regulate the speed at which a motor operates, often using varying voltage or digital signals.
Output
Data produced by a system after processing input.
Overcurrent Protection
Safety feature that prevents damage to motors by cutting off power when current exceeds a set limit.
Brushed Motor
A type of DC hobby motor that uses brushes to transmit electrical current to the rotating armature.
