What are loop cards?

Loop cards are a great game that can be played individually or as a class. They are perfect for review key vocabulary or questions at the end of a topic or when revising for an exam.

Instructions

  1. Cut out the cards from the paper horizontally (but don't cut them in half!) and then shuffle them.
  2. Now start joining each question on the right hand side of the card to the matching answer on the next card.
  3. Carry on until all the cards loop together and you have competed the game!

Hint: Make sure that you set your paper to portrait to print 4 cards per sheet of A4 paper.

Edit Vocab

A digital representation of a three-dimensional object used as a basis for printing.
Fused Deposition Modeling
A 3D printing technology that creates objects by melting plastic filament and depositing it layer by layer.
Resolution
The level of detail that a 3D printer can achieve, often measured in microns.
Support Structure
Temporary scaffolding used in 3D printing to support overhanging features of a model.
Post-Processing
The steps taken after printing to improve surface quality or functionality of the finished object.
Filament
A material used in 3D printing that is fed into the printer to create layers of an object.
Extruder
The component of a 3D printer that melts and deposits the filament onto the print bed.
Layer Height
The thickness of each individual layer printed by a 3D printer, affecting surface finish and print time.
Print Bed
The surface on which a 3D object is printed, which provides adhesion for the first layers.
Slicing Software
A computer program that converts a 3D model into a set of instructions for a 3D printer.
