What are loop cards?

Loop cards are a great game that can be played individually or as a class. They are perfect for review key vocabulary or questions at the end of a topic or when revising for an exam.

Instructions

  1. Cut out the cards from the paper horizontally (but don't cut them in half!) and then shuffle them.
  2. Now start joining each question on the right hand side of the card to the matching answer on the next card.
  3. Carry on until all the cards loop together and you have competed the game!

Hint: Make sure that you set your paper to portrait to print 4 cards per sheet of A4 paper.

Edit Vocab

The set of all the instructions a CPU can execute.
Power Consumption
The amount of electrical power consumed by a CPU under normal operation.
Thermal Design Power
The maximum amount of heat that a CPU generates under normal operation.
Thread Count
The number of simultaneous execution paths a CPU can handle. A higher number of threads can improve multitasking performance.
Cache Memory
A small and fast memory that stores frequently used data.
Hyper-Threading
A technology that allows a CPU to handle multiple threads per core.
Thermal Design Power (TDP)
The maximum amount of power a CPU is designed to dissipate while under typical workload conditions.
Number Of Cores
The number of independent processing units within a CPU.
Instruction Pipelining
A technique used by CPUs to overlap the execution of multiple instructions, improving overall throughput and performance.
Clock Speed
The number of cycles a CPU can execute per second.
