OR Followed by NOT
Cambridge also requires NOR. NOR is OR with the output inverted: it is 1 only when both inputs are 0. If either input is 1, the output is 0.
The truth table is the opposite of OR. Together with NAND, NOR, XOR, AND, OR and NOT, you can be asked to build a circuit from a statement, an expression or a table, with a maximum of three inputs and one output.
NOR outputs 1 only when

OR versus NOR
OR
Output 1 if A or B (or both) is 1. Table: 00→0, 01→1, 10→1, 11→1. Use OR when either condition is enough on its own.
NOR
The NOT of that result. Table: 00→1, 01→0, 10→0, 11→0. Only the 0,0 row stays high; any 1 on an input forces 0.
NOR is [[OR]] with the output inverted. It outputs 1 only when both inputs are [[0]].
